Pathlight School started by Autism Resource Centre (Singapore), is the first autism-focused school offering Singapore’s mainstream academic curriculum blended with life readiness skills. Invited by the Ministry of Education (MOE), it began operations in January 2004 and is known to be one of the fastest growing and progressive special schools in Singapore. The school caters to students with ASD and related disorders aged between 6 and 18 years of age who are cognitively able to access mainstream academics, but require additional support such as smaller class size, special accommodations and teaching staff trained in autism. The school has grown 10-fold from 41 students to more than 420 students in less than 4 years.

Chong Boon Secondary School, located next to Pathlight School generously embraced the concept of integration and inclusion . It is a key strategic partner as Pathlight's buddy mainstream satellite school for its secondary students.
