Autism Resource Centre (Singapore)

Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) or ARC(S) is a not-for-profit charity based in Singapore and registered in year 2000. It was started by professional and parent volunteers dedicated to serving children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to help these individuals lead meaningful and independent lives in society.

To ensure individuals with ASD realise their maximum potential with the support of their caregivers and professional team, ARC(S) provides a wide range of core services: Early InterventionPathlight SchoolAutism TrainingStudent EnrichmentEmployability & Employment CentreLibrary and Information Services.

A Very Special Walk (AVSW)

A Very Special Walk (AVSW) is the signature fundraising event of Autism Resource Centre (Singapore). Since 2005, there has been different renditions, ranging from walk, concert, carnival and movie treats.
This year, AVSW will flag off a run and a walk, and ending off with a carnival and concert.
The funds raised will be used to help adults with autism in the Employability and Employment Centre (E2C).
The Employability and Employment Centre (E2C) was launched by ARC(S) in 2012. It aims to equip adults with autism with employability skills through essential job training and support to match and place them in suitable jobs. It has been proven that with the right training, placement and support, people with autism can work and be productive.
