šŸƒā€ā™‚ļø Running 250km in Greece —
🌈 Supporting the Autism Resource Centre (Singapore)

Later this year, I’ll be running a 250km ultramarathon across ancient ruins, forgotten temples, and olive groves of Greece—a 7-day stage race that will test every limit. But this journey isn’t just about finishing the race. I’m dedicating it to a cause that has quietly but deeply touched my life: supporting individuals with autism and their families.

Over the years, I’ve had colleagues, neighbours, relatives, and people close to my heart who care for someone with special needs. Their strength is constant, their love often unseen, their challenges ongoing.

One moment is etched in my mind.

I was on the MRT when a teenager entered and, in a very direct, matter-of-fact way, repeatedly asked a lady in front of where I was standing to give up her seat—so his mother could sit beside him. His parents looked apologetic. Some passengers moved away. I stayed put. His mother caught my eye and uttered a soft apology.

But there was nothing to apologise for.

What I saw wasn’t disruption—it was love. A son asking for space beside him for his mum. That moment moved me deeply. It was his way of caring for her.

Moments like these have stayed with me. They’ve made me more aware of the quiet strength shown by families and individuals navigating life on the autism spectrum.

So when I committed to take on this 250km ultramarathon in Greece, I wanted it to stand for more than just a personal challenge. I wanted to use it as a way to give back—to help raise funds and awareness for the Autism Resource Centre (Singapore), an organisation that provides vital support through education, job placement, and programmes that help neurodivergent individuals lead meaningful, independent lives.

šŸŽÆ My goal is to raise $15,000 for this cause. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to that. Together, we can make a difference.

ā¤ļø I hope you’ll support me—not just in crossing the finish line, but in making every step matter. All donations goes directly to Autism Resource Centre. šŸ™
