The Key to Inclusion

These are the few questions I've always asked myself:
1. What does Diversity and Inclusion means to me and why do they matter?
2. How do we build an inclusive community?
3. What impact does it create after inclusion comes in view?
One of the possible answer I can think of is to raise awareness of inclusion to people. We know the definition of inclusion but the "How do we do it?" is another challenge.
Inclusion is a practice of ensuring individuals from diverse backgrounds and abilities are actively integrated and valued in society. Inclusion starts when we have values, accessibility and active listening ears. Another few aspects I also believe is for people to empathize the challenges individuals including PWD (People With Disabilities) faced and is willing to take the first step into inclusion. By understanding the challenges they gone through, this helps them to gain deeper understanding and potentially open up to various opportunities for them to unlock their potential.
Inclusion is more than giving everyone a seat at the table. Inclusion is about fostering mutual understanding to build a stronger, better society for all!

The Silhouette as Older Assumptions: The dark, rigid, building silhouettes at the bottom represent the fixed structures of traditional knowledge or assumptions.
The Expansive Sky as the Younger Generation: The wide-open, shifting sky above represents the younger generation’s broader awareness. Just as the sky opens up to catch the light, younger individuals are more receptive to education and modern conversations surrounding neurodiversity.
